Yi holds a master’s degree of Computer Science from Stanford University. After graduation from Stanford in 2011, he went to work for Morgan Stanley’s fixed income department in New York City, responsible for the development of trading algorithm and software. he moved to Tokyo for business opportunities at the end of 2014. In May 2014, responsible for the launch of IDERA Capital, which is the subsidiary for real estate investment in Japan.
